Snapchat users no longer need to copy-paste links or use third-party apps to share YouTube clips to the Snapchat world.

Starting Thursday (31/3/2022), Android and iOS users will be able to share YouTube videos directly via the Snapchat Camera, either to Stories or to individual Snaps.

They can also use available creative features such as automated captions and stickers that can direct Snapchat viewers directly to the video in the YouTube app or web browser.

So, all Snapchatters on iOS and Android can seamlessly share their favorite YouTube videos with their friends directly via Snapchat Camera. They no longer need to copy and paste it for sharing.

Guide How to Share YouTube Videos to Snapchat

The steps are easy, you just need to tap on "share" of the video in the YouTube app you mean and select Snapchat if it is an option. According to the company, this is the first time users will be able to visually share a YouTube link to Snap.

This feature is not the same as sharing vertical videos from TikTok and Instagram. However, this step can reduce the hassle of users finding suitable YouTube videos to share, and it can be very helpful in sharing video Shorts that are perfect for the Snapchat app.

Early in April 2022, Snapchat also announced new augmented reality experiences and features that allow users to share their live location with friends.

Make sure you have the latest version of the Snapchat app installed on your iPhone and Android to get access to all of these features! (*)
