Previously, if you wanted to send WhatsApp, the condition of the cellphone had to be turned on and connected to the internet. But now you can send WhatsApp even if your cellphone is off and offline. How come? what are the tips?

The powerful capabilities of WhatsApp are made possible because of the Multi Device feature. This feature is actually being tested by WhatsApp. This WhatsApp feature can already be tested even though this feature has not been officially released.

So you can use it and can send WhatsApp from a desktop computer or tablet even if the cellphone is not connected to the internet or offline. To try it, you can do the following:

How to try and test WhatsApp's Multi Device Features

  • Click the Settings menu, then click Linked Device
  • Click Join Beta under the Multi-Device Beta option at the bottom.

  3. Then click the Linked Device menu
  4. Click Join Beta under the Multi-Device Beta option at the bottom.
  5. Then open WhatsApp Desktop on a computer or WhatsApp Web in a browser
  6. Then scan the QR Code
You can try sending WhatsApp from here, in the condition that the Android phone is not turned on or offline from an internet connection.

It should be noted, that if during setup, you did not see the Multi-Device Beta feature, there is a possibility that you are not using the latest version of WhatsApp.

All chat activity and WhatsApp messages will be synced automatically on the linked device. This means that you can only start chatting after the message is downloaded.

All messages sent on various devices are guaranteed by WhatsApp to be end-to-end encrypted. So there is a guarantee of security for WhatsApp users. But for the time being, this feature is limited to one phone that can only be connected to four devices.

There are a few more limitations to be aware of as long as you try and use this Multi Device feature, including:
  • Unable to communicate with people who are still using the old version of WhatsApp on the linked device.
  • Invisible Live Location Feature on linked devices.
  • There is a possibility that it is still not optimal and has an influence on quality and performance. Please understand because it's still in the testing phase.
